![]() ![]() Go out of the lake to the right and make a plank above the water. ![]() Underground there’s nothing in the water below here so get out of the water and slide down the mud to the right into another lake. Climb up the balcony on the right and onto the roof above for a few extra experience points. You’ll be immediately attacked by goblins including one shooting cannon balls at you. Turn the fire hydrant around to put out the fire and grab the experience potions.Ĭlimb back up and slide down the roof to the right for the next checkpoint. On the next bridge you can use Amadeus to pick up the plank in the middle and drop down. Head across the ledge and plank across the gap. On the other side of the bridge you can hang down with Zoya to pick up a few experience points. Use a plank to bring the water over to the bridge so you can put out the fire. Once you have them place a box on the ledge underneath to have the water flow to the right. On the roof above are more experience points. ![]() Climb up the balance scales and over to the ledge where the water is falling down. Use Zoya’s fire arrows to ignite them and blow up the boar before it gets too close.Ī few more goblins will attack from the right including an archer goblin on some explosive kegs. Another boar will run at you through the wall. Head to the right and watch the boar with explosive kegs smash the wall. Slide down the roof of the house and open the Secret Chest with Collectible Poem on the ground below. It’s pretty tricky to time but after a few goes you should be able to make it across. To get across the gap you can either pull the lever and ride a crate/box over to the other side or use Zoya to hook onto a box and swing across while it’s in the air. To the right is a catapult and the Trine will appear when you get close, directing you to the wall where goblins are attacking. The lever at the top drops down the plank to the left so you can grab some more experience points. You need to time this with the two other platforms so you can get up the ledge to the right. Pulling the lever lifts up the flappy platforms just above it. Take out the goblins and head out the window to the top right. The heroes return to their home town and are enjoying a drink at the local tavern when goblins attack and steal away Amadeus’ wife. Not yet, anyway.Welcome to a walkthrough of the DLC for Trine 2 called Goblin Menace. A babbling brook we hear but only see in teasing glimpses between the trees. ![]() Maybe with a giant snail casually munching on lettuce in the background. I noticed a conspicuous lack of, for example, vast forests bathed in teal mist and bristling with branches to swing from. Steam Workshop repositories are live for both games, though all you'll find there right now is a level a Frozenbyte chap made with lots of spiked balls. The Trine 1 editor is only for the Enhanced Edition, I should say, the fancied-up version ported to Trine 2's engine. Basic instructions are over on a wiki they've set up, including how to download it. That's why it's not properly officially launch just yet, they say. The level editor is the one Frozenbyte themselves use, so documentation is predictably sparse. A string of grappling hook playgrounds, perhaps. They let folks create new levels, edit existing ones, and put together their own multi-level campaigns. Developers Frozenbyte have released public beta versions of the level editors for both its magical puzzle-platformers, you see, but I'm oh so horribly busy this week. If someone could kindly make a Trine 2 level that's a big huge grappling hook playground with daring leaps and grand fairytale vistas, I'd be much obliged. ![]()
